Emily Pearlman

Emily works across disciplines as a performer, writer, director and dramaturg. The co-artistic director of Mi Casa Theatre, she has toured nationally and internationally with their show Countries Shaped Like Stars, and is currently at work on their new show which involves whales, a washbasin and a daring escape . Most recently she travelled to the wilds of Ohio where she directed the Missoula Oblangata’s latest work The Daughter of the Father of Time Motion Study and got bitten on the eye by a wood tick.
Emily holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Performance Creation from Simon Fraser University.
