A woman is brutally stabbed to death! All goes black! We hear a door slam! Woyzeck has committed a heinous act – but why? Now trapped in a cell (is it an institution or his own guilt?) he  re-experiences the past; taunted by his colleagues and experimented on by his superiors. Fragments of his world are

cobbled and twisted all around him , his delirium builds – what brought him to this place? We see where the jealousy, anger and madness came from. As he tries to escape his captivity he can not. A reinvention of Georg Buchner’s classic Woyzeck about the plight of the common man; this new version asks us – what is our breaking point?
